I.H.Yeh / President and CEO
Mr. Yeh is currently the President and Chairman of ELAN Microelectronics. He has more than 30 years of IC design experience and a track record of many successful startup companies. Prior to founding Elan Microelectronics, he held various management positions at the ITRI, Haulon Microelectronics, and Corona Electronics. ELAN is currently one of the largest IC design houses in Taiwan and has a dominant market share in consumer IC products such as MCU and multi-touch sensors. Mr. Yeh received his MS degree in Electronic Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University.
Kevin Lin / Vice President
Mr. Lin joined some IC design companies in succession in order to cultivate the professional experiences for product developments. From Mar. 2004 to Feb. 2005, he worked with Topro Technology Corporation, as a researcher. He developed the algorithm and the hardware architecture of adaptive 3-D noise reduction for LCD TV. From Mar. 2005 to Feb. 2006, he was with Winbond Electronics Corporation, as a researcher. His major tasks focused on the chip design and the algorithm development for a large size LCD timing controller. From July 2005 to now, he joined Avisonic Technology Corporation, as a VLSI architect. He mainly developed the SOC (system-on-chip) architecture of MPEG-4 ASP and designed the 3-D motion estimation with the proposed Dual-Search-Windows technique and current Fish-eye lens distortion compensation IC. His current job focuses on product-development / marketing-analysis / sales-strategy in Avisonic Technology Corporation now. Mr. Lin received the MS degree and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Control Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2003, and 2007, respectively. He received the third prize for the contest on Silicon Intellectual Property Design (Hard IP section), Ministry of Education, Taiwan, in 2003. His current research interests are biomedical-electronics SOC design, capsule gastrointestinal (GI) image processing, video compression processing, DSP (digital signal processing) chip design, optimization of VLSI architecture, and memory circuit design.
Mark Chen / R&D
Mr. Chen has more than 20 years of experience in engineering and management in the IC design industry. Prior to Avisonic, he held management, project lead and engineering positions at Realtek Semiconductor, Macronix and ITRI, where he was responsible for RISC and DSP development such as IPCam, digital camera, VoIP, ADSL, DVD recorder, PHS base station, digital answering machine, and data/Fax modem. Mr. Chen received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University and his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Florida.
